As many of you know, I have been involved with Read Ahead as a Junior Board member and volunteer tutor for several years. This year, I'm doing an independent fundraiser on behalf of Read Ahead, in conjunction with my running the Berlin Marathon on September 29, 2019. 

This organization is a life-changing one for its young participants, who, through Read Ahead, gain confidence personally and intellectually, and have their horizons broadened through mentorship and the world of books.
