Thank you for becoming a Read Ahead Page Turner! Your donation makes it possible for Read Ahead to pair caring mentors with New York City children who will benefit greatly from weekly, reading-based mentoring that develops in them the social-emotional skills essential for academic and lifelong success.

Page Turners who join at the $21/month (or $250/year) level and above are invited to apply to become a Read Ahead mentor during the upcoming school year.

How do I apply to become a mentor? 

Please visit https://readahead.org/sign-up/ to complete an application form. Once your form is received, a Read Ahead team member will contact you with next steps.

How will I know where and when I will volunteer? 

The map of our participating schools can be found here. The mentor application form will ask you to indicate your preference for school location and day/time.
